Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve participants’ competence in providing optimal care for HIV-infected patients through the appropriate use of contemporary ARV regimens.

Target Audience 
This program is intended for physicians, registered nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who provide care for HIV-infected patients.

Learning Objectives 

  • Integrate best practices when selecting first-line ARV regimens for HIV-infected patients
  • Apply appropriate treatment modification strategies for patients already receiving ART including those who are virologically suppressed and those with virologic failure
  • Incorporate data on evolving treatment paradigms into the individualized care of HIV-infected patients, as appropriate
