The timing and agenda for each individual meeting is as follows:
- Welcome, CME information, and baseline outcomes questions (10 mins)
- Case 1 discussion followed by didactic slides (10-15 mins)
- Case 2 discussion followed by didactic slides (10-15 mins)
- Case 3 discussion followed by didactic slides (10-15 mins)
- Question and answer session, concluding outcomes questions (15-20 mins)

Goal
The goal of this activity is to improve participants’ competence in providing optimal care for HIV-infected patients through the appropriate use of contemporary antiretroviral regimens.
Target Audience
This program is intended for physicians, registered nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who provide care for HIV-infected patients.
Learning Objectives
- Apply best practices when selecting first-line antiretroviral regimens for HIV-infected patients
- Integrate treatment modification strategies when appropriate for patients already receiving antiretroviral therapy
- Provide individualized care for key populations of HIV-infected patients, according to factors such as age, comorbid conditions, and concomitant medications
- Provide insightful counsel to patients and colleagues regarding antiretroviral strategies in development
- Pharmacists will be able to provide appropriate counsel to patients and other members of the treatment team
- Nurses will be able to provide appropriate counsel for patients and their families
