Program Overview
This program is designed to address the urgent COVID-19 educational needs of infectious disease clinicians, enabling them to to stay current with best practices in screening, diagnosis, work-up, and management, while also being ready to adopt new treatments if and when they enter the clinic.

Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to provide a comprehensive, agile, and highly accessible educational resource to improve ID clinicians’ competence in providing optimal care for COVID-19.

Target Audience
This program is intended for physicians, pharmacists, registered nurses, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers who provide care for patients with or at risk of COVID-19.

Physician Assistant Continuing Medical Education

Clinical Care Options, LLC has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 0.75 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim commensurate with the extent of their participation.

American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 0.75 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
