Program Overview
The primary purpose of this activity is to improve participants’ competence in addressing the most important and most current challenges in the treatment of psychiatric illness by providing a focused update on recent advances and key issues.
Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of learners to assess diagnostic considerations and new and emerging therapies for the treatment of psychiatric illness.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and psychologists engaged in the care of patients with psychiatric illness.

Continuing Pharmacy Education

CCO designates this continuing education activity for 15.0 contact hours (1.5 CEUs) of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. Universal Activity Number - UANs will be specific to each topic.

Upon successfully completing the activity evaluation form, transcript information will be sent to the NABP CPE Monitor Service within 60 days.
Physician Associate/Physician Assistant Continuing Medical Education

Clinical Care Options, LLC has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 15.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim commensurate with the extent of their participation.
Psychologist Continuing Education

Continuing education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

Social Work Continuing Education

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Clinical Care Options, LLC (CCO) is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. CCO maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 15.0 clinical continuing education credits.
